Production Planner

Position Summary

To organise production according to demand and quality standards, ensuring goods are produced on time for distribution  in a profitable manner. Responsible for the scheduling usage of production materials to ensure optimum levels, monitoring material supply flow, identifying any shortages or bottlenecks that may arise. Main goal to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of the production operation meeting required deadlines.

Required Skills

• Previous experience in production planning
• Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
• Sound knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Organisation and problem-solving skills
• Analytical skills
• Advanced communication and IT skills

Desired Skills

• Degree or HND  in business studies
