Gravure Printer – 10 Colour Press

 Location: i54 Business Park, Valiant Way, Wolverhampton, WV9 5GB
 

Contract: Permanent / Temporary – Flexible working patterns considered

We’re looking for an experienced Gravure Printer to join our specialist security printing team in Wolverhampton.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong gravure print experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working in a technical, quality-focused production environment.

You’ll be operating a 10-colour gravure press, working with polymer/plastic substrates and helping to produce specialist security-sensitive products to exacting standards.

We’re happy to discuss flexible working patterns and would also consider someone looking for additional weekend work alongside another role, provided they have the right gravure print experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Setting up and operating a 10-colour gravure printing press
  • Working with polymer/plastic substrates
  • Carrying out colour matching, quality checks and press adjustments
  • Monitoring print quality, registration and press performance
  • Completing production and quality records
  • Following strict security, confidentiality and quality procedures
  • Working closely with production, quality and supervisory teams

We’d like to hear from candidates who have:

  • Experience operating gravure printing presses, ideally multi-colour presses
  • A good understanding of print quality, colour matching and substrate handling
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • A reliable, quality-focused and team-minded attitude

Experience with polymer/plastic substrates, security printing, or security-sensitive products would be a real advantage.

Security & Facilities Assistant

Location: i54 Business Park, Valiant Way, Wolverhampton, WV9 5GB

Reports to: Facilities Co-Ordinator

We are looking for a motivated and organised Security & Facilities Assistant to join our team in Wolverhampton. This varied role will help ensure the security and smooth day-to-day operation of our site, while also providing support to the warehouse team when required.

The role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining site security, including opening and locking the building
  • Managing visitor access, checking identification and escorting contractors
  • Maintaining security records and reporting any security breaches
  • Liaising with the remote monitoring service
  • Managing secure printed materials, products and confidential waste
  • Supporting loading, unloading, goods-in and goods-out activities
  • Assisting with warehouse stock movement, storage and housekeeping
  • Carrying out forklift duties
  • Supporting general facilities activities, including fire marshal duties
  • Forming part of the site’s 24-hour security call-out rota

About you

You will be reliable, organised and comfortable working across security, facilities and warehouse activities. You’ll need a practical, hands-on approach and the ability to follow procedures carefully, particularly when dealing with security and stock control.

Required skills and experience:

  • Forklift licence
  • MS Business Central (BC)
  • MS Office 365
  • Good organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and dependable

Production / Delivery Co-ordinator

Location: i54 Business Park, Valiant Way, Wolverhampton, WV9 5GB

Reports to: Operations Manager

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused Production / Delivery Co-ordinator to join our production team in Wolverhampton. This is a varied, hands-on role responsible for coordinating the preparation, conversion, packing and despatch of finished goods, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

The role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Picking finished goods and components from inventory
  • Following FIFO stock control procedures
  • Converting finished items into new SKUs in line with production instructions
  • Applying batch numbers and maintaining accurate quality and traceability records
  • Updating stock and production information on company systems
  • Packing finished goods securely for shipment
  • Preparing pallets where required
  • Booking transport with approved delivery partners
  • Producing shipment paperwork and providing tracking information
  • Updating internal and external systems with delivery information
  • Identifying and escalating stock shortages or damaged items
  • Supporting other production areas when required

About you

You’ll be highly organised, able to manage several priorities at once and comfortable working to tight production and despatch deadlines. Attention to detail is essential, along with a strong commitment to following established processes and procedures.

Required skills and experience:

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate multiple deliveries and production timelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Ability to follow SOPs accurately
  • Manufacturing, picking or shipping experience would be an advantage

Print Assistant

Location: i54 Business Park, Valiant Way, Wolverhampton, WV9 5GB

Department: Print

We are looking for a motivated and practical Print Assistant to support our print team in Wolverhampton. Working closely with the Technical Print Manager, this hands-on role will help keep production running efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, organisation and safety.

The role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading and unloading reels to support continuous press operation
  • Preparing and supplying inks throughout the print process
  • Weighing and recording inks in line with procedures
  • Maintaining solvent levels and managing waste inks and containers
  • Keeping raw material paperwork accurate and up to date
  • Supporting press make-ready activities and managing cylinder storage
  • Ensuring raw materials and pallets are stored correctly
  • Cleaning and maintaining wash tanks, distiller and associated equipment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following company Health & Safety procedures at all times

About you

You’ll be a reliable team player with good attention to detail and a willingness to take a hands-on approach. You should be comfortable using your own initiative while working closely with colleagues to support an efficient print operation.
